Nicholas | Ancaster Child Photographer

czinege-photography-niagara-child-01 Happy 6 Months Nicholas! Times flies! I was loving this kids rocking’ style during his session last week. Denim and plaid, my favourites! Last time I photographed Nicholas he was so serious, this time he was all smiles! I love capturing portraits for the “Baby’s First Year” package. It’s awesome to watch them grow and hit milestones. Last time I was Nicholas he could barely hold up his head, now he is such a strong boy!
czinege-photography-niagara-child-02 czinege-photography-niagara-child-03 I love capturing the serious look on kids faces when they’re staring right at the camera, there is just something about it. czinege-photography-niagara-child-04 Hehehe, love that little chin!czinege-photography-niagara-child-07czinege-photography-niagara-child-08 czinege-photography-niagara-child-09Here’s a little triptych of his growth to date; see you in another 3 months little man!

Spring Mini Sessions | Niagara Child and Family Photographer

On a perfect, warm sunny spring day. Seven families came to have their portraits captured during my Spring Mini Sessions. New clients, returning clients, I adore all of these families so much. I had a lot of fun photographing everyone and I hope that  they did too!

Okay, seriously. This girl. Adorable.
Ashton is turning two soon and I’ve been here since the beginning. I get so attached to the families that come back and allow me to watch them grow. They’re part of the Liz Czinege Photography family and they hold a special place in my heart.
liz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_02 Addison is the sweetest little girl. She LOVED being in front of the camera, so perfect!
liz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_03 Ahh, Miss Alexis. Back in front of my camera again. I love this kid. Her mom started out as one of my brides and now we’re best friends. Those are my favourite kind of clients. #WhenClientsBecomeFriendsliz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_01 Mr. Weston was a little shy at first and wanted nothing to do with me or my camera. But after a little bit of convincing that I’m actually nice, we got some great portraits! liz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_05 Eira has turned one!! She is always so serious in front of my camera, but as soon as I put it away she’s as giggly as can be! I’m glad that I was able to capture some of her gorgeous smiles.
liz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_04 Best friends. These two melted my heart! Such a beautiful family!

liz_czinege_child_photographer_hamilton_niagara_07We finally captured some smiles on Scarlett! She is such a cutie!

Have a spooktacular Halloween!

Does Anyone Read These Things?

A few weeks ago I was deciding whether or not to offer Easter Minis. They have never appealed to me; plastic eggs, live unsanitary animals (however cute!), AstroTurf. Whether you know me personally or follow my photography, there’s a good chance that you know those things are the furthest from my style. “I solemnly swear never to use AstroTurf..”

liz_czinege_photography_niagara_maternity10Art is subjective, everyone is different. What looks amazing to someone might look terrible to someone else. Every photographer has their own style, and every person has their favourite photographer.Montage - Grass

I pride myself on capturing natural, timeless portraits. There have been hits and misses along the way (everyone starts somewhere). But as I continue to grow and evolve, like any artist, my style has become more distinctive and more “me”. It is about what makes me happy and my creative freedom, rather than worrying about what other photographers are doing or what people will think of the photographs.

Liz Czinege Newborn Child Photographer Niagara Hamilton07It wasn’t until a someone told me they liked my style that I realized I had one, and then proceeded to have this revelation.

I’m not sure if anyone even reads my blog posts but these personal (albeit rambling) ones are my favourite to write. They’re raw, they probably have spelling or grammar mistakes, but they’re very much me. I love when I discover a new blog and after reading a few posts I feel like I have gotten to know the writer. That is what I aim to do with all of my posts. And if you are reading them (I hope you are!) I’d love for you to leave comments and feedback. You’re getting to know me, let me get to know you!

Till next time,
Liz

(Oh ps. I am offering SPRING Mini-Sessions on March 29th, my last minis until Halloween. Email me at liz.czinege@gmail.com for more information.)
