This post never made it out of my drafts. And since I’m catching up on all my blog posts, I thought I would share this one as well!
Brothers, always there to bonk ya on the head with a balloon.
It’s safe to say Nathan hated his cake, as delicious as it looked! Maple was more than happy to step up and help her brother.

Thin’s | Niagara Family Photographer
I love this family. The only time I ever get nervous before a session is when I am photographing friends for the first time. I always feel so much pressure to get the right shots, the perfect shots. But these guys nailed it!
When you love your brother so much you just have to put him in a choke hold. That portrait makes me laugh, 100% accurate to their relationship. Parents always get stressed out when children don’t behave how we want for the session, but I always get some good ones! When I photograph my niece and nephews, the candid shots are my favourite. So natural and so them, as they grow – those are the photographs that I love the most because it reminds me of how they truly were at that age.
I love this photograph, reminds me of an album cover.
Ruby, the sweetest daddy’s girl! She is the BIGGEST suck and is so patient with the boys.
Lily&Cora | Niagara Pet Photographer
A couple of my favourites from my recent portrait session with Lily&Cora.
Cora’s litter-sister lives next door, so obviously we had to include her in a few portraits. I love how much this one looks like an album cover.
Lily and her two body guards! Don’t mess with these girls!
Cole | Niagara Child Photographer
Cole is ONE! Wow. What a year it has been. It seems like yesterday that I was photographing Cole’s newborn portraits – and here we are at his cake smash birthday session!
Doesn’t he have the best blue eyes?! Gorgeous!
After the cake smash we called in the clean up crew. Maple is the best big sister ever!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!
As shout out to all the parents who put so much effort into costumes for their little ones. They were all so adorable. I’m glad that I didn’t have to choose the winner!

Everly | Niagara Newborn Photographer
Everly, you met her a couple weeks ago when I blogged her birth session, now here is her newborn session!! I came back to do a couple more portraits because of unforeseen circumstances, but it was TOTALLY worth it!
I love me some newborn smiles.
Alexis is the BEST big sister!
I got this portrait without any Photoshop! 3 dogs, a 4 year old and a newborn all co-operating, it was a miracle!!
Squishy snuggles.
Safe in Daddies arms.
Cole | Niagara Newborn Photographer
Cole, two days old and perfect! I’m so ecstatic that Mom and Dad welcomed me into their home on their first full day home from the hospital. They’re such champs and so laid back! And you could definitely tell during his session, he was the best little guy to photograph!
Couldn’t help but include this special blanket!
And of course Mom and Dad’s original baby, Maple, had to be included as well!
I can’t wait to photograph Cole in this same spot 4 more times over the next year! As part of his first year package I will get to watch him grow and capture his milestones at 3 months, 9 months and One Year.
Maple may have stolen the show! This family portrait is the best!
Pepper, Dom & Kya | Niagara Pet Photographer
Yes, I photograph fur-babies too!
Meet Kya, Dom and Pepper. They were so well behaved during their session. I like to think it’s because I’m awesome and they loved me, but I think they just loved the cheese they were getting as their reward! Regardless, I had a lot of fun with these three and I got lots of kisses!
Handsome Dom, Miss Kya, so pretty.
Pepper, the baby of the bunch.
I’m in LOVE with these classic black and whites of Dom and Kya.
Don’t those eyes just look into your soul.
Anthony | Niagara Newborn Photographer
Anthony gave me Baby Fever baaaaaaaad. And no wonder, with gorgeous parents like his, he was bound to be handsome! His Mom won this session during my 12 Days of Giveaways and I am so happy she used it to capture his newborn portraits.
Lily loves her little brother, but she was a little reluctant to join in the portraits – that is unless she was allowed to give him kisses! She’s such a sweetheart I could just lay and cuddle with her all day.
When I walked into Laura and Steve’s home I fell in love with their huge barn door (made by Steve!) and I knew I had to incorporate it into Anthony’s portraits – that did not disappoint!
If you follow my photography, then you know that this ‘bum up’ pose is my favourite. I do it during all of my newborn sessions, maybe it’s getting old, but parents always love the rolls!
Meet the Steelers and Jays newest fan! Dad wanted to incorporate his first baseball glove into Anthony’s portraits, I couldn’t say no.
