Hunter | Niagara Child Photographer

This was so not my usual session. I haven’t seen Hunter in far too long (I was way overdue for a visit before all of this Covid stuff happened – worst Aunt award right here). Sometimes photographing kids that are close to you is much more difficult than photographing kids you’ve just met. When I met Hunter and his Mom at the beach he was super excited to see me, but I could tell he was a little off. And if there is one thing I’ve learnt about children, it’s that sometimes you need to let go of your expectations and just go with the flow! I still got some great photographs (much to the surprise of his mom!) and I had a lot of fun hanging out with my nephew!

About 3 minutes into the session he soaked his shorts and THAT’S when I let go of expectations and let him be free! First rule you learn as a photographer – NEVER EVER have your subject look directly into the sun. BUT HOW CUTE IS THIS PHOTOGRAPH! I had to share even though it’s technically all wrong.  He came up with every excuse not to leave the beach. “I don’t want to get hit by a car.” “I’m going to get a tick.” This kid is so smart! Very happy he gave in though, I love these portraits!   Who doesn’t love magic?!  If your kids are barefoot at the session, you can almost guarantee you’ll get one of these in your gallery!

Sorry for over sharing. I’m so excited to be back behind the camera! If you made it to the end of this post – THANK YOU!

Eliza | Niagara Child Photographer

Hey y’all.
Warning! Proud (and 100% biased) Auntie moment coming up!
Isn’t my niece beautiful?!

I’m not going to lie, it’s been a rough year so far and I think everyone is feeling the same way! It’s been hard not being able to see my family and friends, but it’s also been torture not being able to do what I love. I photographed my niece last weekend (for what should have been my Spring Mini Sessions) and it felt INCREDIBLE to have my camera in my hand again. I can’t wait until all of this is over and I can get behind the camera again full time and capture all of your beautiful faces!
Stop growing up so fast. *Insert cry face emoji here*
The best part about my niece getting older – I can ask her to photograph me in return! Impromptu portraits = covid hair and scrunchy nose!

Caleb | Niagara Newborn Photographer

I can’t wait to deliver Caleb’s portraits to his Mom. They’re all packaged up and ready to go! I drove from Grimsby to Port Colborne is a snow storm for his session, and it was so worth it. He was a little sweetie during his session!
The little details are a must at every session. Parents can’t get enough! Caleb is definitely going to grow up a cowboy!  Mom requested that we use this saddle, obviously I couldn’t say no. (Don’t worry, he was being held the entire time!)

Eve | Niagara Child Photographer

Eve celebrated her first birthday with portraits! She has the sweetest little face, so adorable!  Eve is definitely a one year old! She was super active during her session and didn’t want anything to do with the camera – but you would never know!  Anyone else in love with her eyes?!  Eve wasn’t too sure about her cake!

Slipak’s | Niagara Family Photographer

I thought we could use a little bit of fall with this dreary weather we’ve been having! I photographed this beautiful family a couple weeks ago at the Quarry. We’re so lucky to have such a beautiful spot close to home.  This little miss stole the show!  C’mon! How adorable is that face?!

Kylie & Jon | Niagara Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to share the images from Kylie and Jon’s wedding day! It was so hard to narrow down my favourites, but here they are!  We left a very sunny Port Colborne and drove into a massive storm in Pelham. There was SO. MUCH. RAIN! But Kylie and Jon didn’t let it get them down. They were troopers, they insisted on still capturing their portraits outside. By the time we came back inside Kylie was leaving a trail of water behind her because her dress was so drenched! But they had smiles on the whole day, and of course, we had a ton of laughs! Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your day. It means the world to me!

8th Annual Costume Contest

Happy Halloween from Liz Czinege Photography! I hope everyone got enough candy to weigh them down in that storm that ripped through on Thursday!

This year I decided to do something a little different with the costume contest. Instead of the public voting for their favourite costume, I compiled a panel of 4 judges ranging in age and gender. Each judge was asked to select their first, second and third choices. The first choice had a 3 point value, second had a 2 point value and third had a 1 point value.

And, the winner was …..

Cruz as Trump

I am SO happy that I didn’t have to choose the winner of the contest, because there is no way I could have decided! Here are the rest of the adorable kiddos in their costumes, in no particular order!

The Korten’s | Niagara Family Photographer

This family is the cutest! Coming into the session, Mama was concerned that Jensen wouldn’t co-operate. But I think we got some great portraits!  Demi is so bright-eyed!  A little Mama and Demi one on one time while her big brother was running around hog-wild.  I seriously love this natural shot, I think it sums up this family pretty well!

Alexis & Everly | Niagara Child Photographer

I always have fun photographing this girls. And not JUST because I’m their honorary Auntie. I love capturing how caring Alexis is towards her little sister. And Everly never fails to keep things interesting!  I can’t believe how much Alexis has grown. Slow down little girl! Love me some denim in black and white!  I got the biggest chuckle from Alexis, no matter how much Everly was freaking out beside her, she continued to look at the camera and smile.

The Cole’s | Niagara Family Photographer

The Cole’s first portraits as a family of FIVE! I’m a little late on all of these Spring sessions, but they are definitely worth the share. I love natural portraits! Boys will be boys, right?
