This blog post is LONG overdue, but here it is non-the-less.
Walking into Aubrey’s session I was a little anxious, at almost 2 weeks over due and a week old, the chances of a co-operating baby were not great. But I was pleasantly surprised – she was SO good to me. Letting me pose her hands into the cutest little positions and being so patient with her big sister. 9 pounds and a home birth, this mama is amazing!
Because seriously… how doesn’t love little baby bits!
One of the benefits of going to my clients home for newborn portraits is that I always have something new to work with. I have been LOVING nursery portraits lately. You can see just how small Aubrey is in this photograph.
Aubrey’s dad made this teepee for big sister Amelia. Needless to say I’m a little bit jealous! I would have loved to have a teepee in my room when I was growing up, imagine the adventures these two girls will have in here.
Amelia is going to be such a great big sister.
Such a sweet little family. I love meeting my clients during their maternity portraits and watching their family go from three to four. Wishing them all the happiness (and sleep!) in the world.
