I had a lot of fun with this little family. It was a wee bit chilly, but they pushed through and we got some adorable family portraits for them! Thank you for being champs and putting up with my “just one more.” I think this is my favourite portrait from the day. There’s just something about it! When Erin and I had our pre consultation she said that she wanted a lot of fun, candid shots. I think we were successful!
On this beautiful Thanksgiving morning I met with Eastyn and her mom to capture her first birthday portraits. Eastyn is such a sweetie, so happy to be one! In reality she probably has no idea what’s going on, but she loved being the centre of attention! Mom brought along this great chalkboard that a friend of hers made, and I am in LOVE with it. So great!! Kisses and Peek-a-Boo, heheh. These moments are the sweetest, I love them. Mommy daughter moments are my favourite to capture.
I did my job, now it’s your turn! Scroll through all of the adorable kids and choose your favourite costume! When you get to the bottom leave a comment with the name of the child you’re voting for. Only one vote per email address. CONTEST ENDS OCTOBER 31ST at 10AM! Feel free to share this link with family and friends and encourage them to vote!
Sophie is such a sweet little girl! I was with her for two and a half hours and I barely heard a peep out of her. She slept without waking during the first hour of our session – which is almost unheard of! – and it made for some super sweet portraits! We got some rare “open eyed” portraits while waiting for Sophie to fall back asleep, she was so content and perfect for me! Sophie looks so cuddly and comfy, I rarely capture wrapped, falling asleep shots, but I love the way these ones turned out. I might have to photograph a few at every newborn session! I photographed mom’s maternity portraits, it was an honour to capture their first family portraits as well!
Isabella is growing quick! Last week she was in the studio for her 6 Month portraits! Who doesn’t love to eat their feet?!
It takes a bit of work to get Isabella to smile, she’s such a serious baby. But when she does, it’s totally worth it!
