On Friday I released “Behind the Lens with Liz Czinege Photography”. It’s a short little video with a bit of fun, a bit of talking and a lot of newborn sweetness.
All I can say is wow. The response that I have already received from this video is surprising – thank you so much! (If you haven’t seen it yet the video is embedded at the bottom of this post.)
This video has been a long time in the making. About six months ago I decided that I wanted to put together a little video that showed what went on during a newborn session. I found the perfect mom willing to let me bring a videographer to her baby girl’s newborn session. Five months and 45 hours of labour later, we were ready to film!
I was completely in my element photographing 8 day old Madilynn, it truly is my happy place. But as it turns out, I am better behind the camera then in front of it. When it came time for the one-on-one interview, ouch, painful! It took half an hour of uncontrollable laughter (I couldn’t even say my name… awkward.) before I was able to talk – I guess I never really got over being shy!
However painful the process, I love the result! Here it is!
Last week I welcomed my third 2014 newborn into the Babies First Year family. It is such an honour to document this for Isabella and her parents. I will be photographing Isabella again at 3 months, 9 months and again on her birthday!
Isabella is so sweet, look at that face!
I love when babies have gas and I am able to capture these smiles for their parents!
Little Isabella was so easy on me, it was a pleasure documenting her 9th day on this earth. I can’t wait to see her again in a few months!
I just recently put together this Newborn Book for a client, and I actually remembered to photograph it so I could share it with all of you!
These hard cover books make a great keepsake from your newborn session. Each book is custom designed with photographs the client has chosen from their session. The book has a suede wrapped spine, accented with a beautiful white stitching. These books are made to last a long time, the thick pages are reinforced so they lay flat and won’t tear from the spine. They are also coated with UV protection to ensure that it will not discolour or fade.
The name page is one of my favourite parts of the book. It is a great way to include your baby’s birth information along side their newborn portraits. These hard cover books are available in two sizes; 5×5 and 8×8. They hold anywhere from 15-30 images depending on the size and photographs that you choose. Also included are the digital files for the chosen photographs on a custom engraved USB.
My clients love these book especially, because I do not offer complete sets of digital files on disk/USB. However anything you purchase in print you receive the digital copy for, so this is a great way to receive your favourite digital files from the portrait session.
Of course these books can be filled with portraits from any type of session, not just newborns! For information on products and portrait sessions email me at email@example.com.
